Floating Bookshelves

Bookends as Bookshelves

What you need are screws, a bookend, a screwdriver, and some good books. First, you need to screw in the bookend into the wall. Next, you grab a book and open it to the place you were. Put it into the bookend and then stack some books. Now you have a floating bookshelf!

Cool Mugs

Sharpie Mugs

What you need is a sharpie and a mug that is plain and clean. Then you decorate the mug with the mug, something like "I love Audrey Hepburn" or "Hey, Hey, HEY!!" When you are done with that, put in the oven and bake for thirty minutes at 350 degrees F. After thirty minutes, you have a personalized mug!

Fun Sneakers

DIY  Tie Dye Sneakers

Materials
  • Two Plain White Sneakers
  • Dye (pink, orange, yellow, blue, purple)
  • Plastic See-Thru Gloves
  • Big Square Tub (moveable)
  • Tape

How To Do This

Get the sneakers. Unlace the shoes and tape the soles. Starting with pink, rub the dye into the front of the shoe over the tub. Next, use the color orange, and blending into the edge of the pink dye. Then, use the yellow dye; it will take up much of the shoe, including the tongue. Next, use the blue dye, rub it in, and blend some into the yellow dye to make the color green. After that, cover the heel of the shoe with the purple dye, and blend some into the blue to make indigo. Finally, put each shoe in a plastic bag and and have them sit overnight and let the shoes dry, too. The next day, take the shoes out of their bags and peel off the tape. Wash the shoes in warm water on a gentle spin, then put them in the dryer on a gentle spin as well. When that is all done, lace the dyed shoes back up. The last step is very simple:

ENJOY YOUR TIE-DYE SHOES!!!!

How to Horseback Ride Perfectly

How to Get Off

Swing your right foot over your horse and take your left foot out. Lay on the horse and slide off.

How to Turn Right and Left

To make your horse turn right, take your right hand, hold the rein, and have the rein out to the right low and the horse will go right. And it is the same thing for left, only have the rein out to the left.

Tips

  • Always hold the reins.
  • Look ahead of you, not the horse you're riding.

Learning About the Founder

Hello, everybody! I am Caroline G. Cooke, but please call me CC. I am also the creator of www.animals-of-north-america.blogspot.com. I belong to a beautiful, awesome family of four: a very sweet mom, Lisa B. Cooke; a hard working dad, Nelson K. Cooke Jr.; and a very funny 6 year-old brother, Noah Cooke. I made this website because I noticed how much people are bored all the time in life. So I made this blog so we won't be as bored. There is stuff on here so you will be doing something. I will also do book/movie reviews so you'll know what it's like. Hope you all enjoy this website! Have a splendid day, guys!
